This sunday, April 12th, is Easter, a spring holiday symbolized by eggs, bunnies, and chickens, among sunshine and rain. As the days become warmer, kids like to paint and decorate eggs, and also some people have egg hunts. My mom says that a house should also be spotless by Easter Day, so maybe that's where "spring cleaning" came from!

It is mostly celebrated because it is believed today was the day Jesus celebrated his resurrection from the dead.

Also, it more importantly symbolizes Jesus Christ rising from the dead. Today, Good Friday, is when He was crucified. If any of you have never heard the true story and meaning of Easter, PM me and I will be happy to explain it more thouroughly
